Kan Village
The village is located in the range of the green
hills, the name of the village originated from
Yi Jing’s yin & yang, which implies that the
inhabitants could avoid disasters and get prosperous
in the future. The majority of the villagers have
the same surname Luo, who have lived and multiplied
here for more than 1000 years. It is such a typical
old village in southern China that you might find
a similar impression or experience in some other
parts of Southern China. There is the largest
well-preserved family clan hall of Luo family
in China inside the Cheng Kan where you can learn
some local history and Luo family’s evolvement
from more than 300 old houses.
