The Attraction of the Yellow Mountain

After seeing the scenery on the top, many western tourists gave it a high praise, “This is the best mountainous scenery on the earth”. Pines on the granite peaks, with light mist half shrouding peak waist now and then, forms the most beautiful landscape in China. The mountain’s topography has greatly influenced the style of the Chinese painting for the recent 100 years. Every year more than two hundred thousands of overseas tourists came to hike the Mountain and were deeply impressed by its beauty. The following is the suggested tour route for your reference when you have a chance to the National Park.
Usually tourists start their mountain tour from Huangshan City, that is to say you should arrive at the local one day ahead or early in the morning by train. The coach journey your real destination is about one hour and half and you will reach the cable terminal at bottom around 10 in the morning.

Your guide or chauffeur will show you to the cable car VIP channel and my staff will reserve your board time one day before so you won't wait long, where you could buy entrance and cable car service fee respectively, or just leave that to your guide or chauffeur who knows how to handle such trifles.
It only takes you 10 minutes to get onto the top from the bottom. The cable compartment can carry 50 passengers for each load. Assuming you depart your hotel at downtown at 8 in the morning, you might stand on the top around 10. Then you walk 20 minutes down steps and you will arrive your Beihai Hotel, 4 star with buffet breakfast.
There are several hotels and shops on the top, even a clinic and a small bank opposite your hotel so you needn’t bring too much necessities to the top. Why we strongly suggest Beihai Hotel ro Shilin Hotel ( both are 4 starred one) as your accommodations on the top?
Beihai Hotel has the best position on the top, with the most beautiful sceneries around it, while the location of West Sea Hotel is lower, which means you have to climb 200 steps to the reach the altitude of Beihai Hotel. It is not convenient for you, especially those aged or
couples with kids to walk about half hour to watch the sunrise early in the morning. The best spots to watch the sunrise are just around Beihai or Shilin Hotel, which are only 10 minutes’ walk.
You have two thick cotton jackets in your room for you to watch sunrise early in the morning. I strongly suggest that you bring with you only one night's necessities and leave all behind at foot of the mountain.
On the top you will pass the following scenic spots: Begin-believe Peak, Lion Peak, Bright Top, and Huge Rock Fallen afar, Cloud-dispelling Pavilion. All these scenic spots are connected by flagstone-paved paths and you just walk on steps and do not have a feeling of mountain-climbing.
Remember all the scenic spots are easy to be reached from Beihai Hotel within one hour’s walk. And you can easily cover all the spots with one daytime hiking on the top.
We have bilingual direction-signs wherever you go, and you won’t get lost even if you are alone on the top. As many Chinese young people can speak English, you will feel quite at home both inside the hotel and out on the scenic spots.
When you feel your eyes have been feasted with the natural scenes, you can get down and to have a tour over some ancient villages just on the way back to the downtown.
