Xidi travel lodge
Located at the entrance of Xidi Village, world
cultural heritage, Xidi Travel Lodge is designed
harmoniously with the local Hui style. There are
six connecting buildings in different styles which
embrace several small gardens. All the rooms are
equipped with modern facilities, such air-conditioner
and shower and some with bathtub. The following
is testimonials from Singapore tourists:
Being first time to Huangshan, we were totally
amazed by Huangshan's beautiful scenery.
As for Xidi Travel lodge, we were also pleasantly
surprised and we had a true cultural experience
by staying there.
The hotel itself was originally ancient homes
of rich locals and it kept the local architecture
styles. Guest room was not that big but nicely
decorated with cute Chinese furniture. Heard from
the hotel staff the furniture was of Southern
Chinese style!
Hotel staffs were courteous and friendly. A few
can speak good English. Deeply located at a small
basin of China inland, the comfort is absolutely
beyond our expectation. An overnight at Xidi sitting
in the warm bath is a good treat for the t precious
trekking on the top of Huangshan Mountain.
