A Night by the West Lake after Huangshan Hiking

Day 1.
Take a night train from Shanghai Station N 418, leave at 22: 35 / arrival at Huangshan City before 9:15 the next day
Day 2. The guide and the driver will greet you at the exit of the train station, and she will hold a sign with your name on it. You will drive to Huangshan ("Huang" means "yellow" and "shan" means "mountain"), about 75 km northwest of Tunxi. In 1990 UNESCO listed the Huangshan region as a world cultural and natural heritage site. Huangshan is one of the most spectacular areas in all of China. Its unique scenery of jagged peaks and twisted pines is often depicted in traditional Chinese paintings. Rocks, mist, trees, temples and water make this an unforgettable place. Within an area of 154 square kilometers is a crown of peaks, with 72 named for the shapes they resemble. Lotus Flower, Bright Top and Celestial Capital are the three major ones, all rising above 1,800 meters (5,600 feet). You will hike about three hours to reach the summit and the setting for the Beihai Hotel.
Remember: begin your hike from the western path and walk to the rear part, your hotel (Beihai Hotel) is located on the rear part of the mountain. The guide will give you a detailed information about the trekking.
Hike to Huangshan summit [2 miles, more than 1000 steps to climb, 1600 meters or 5000 feet above sea level, 4 hours; guests carry a change of clothing in their day back and leave their luggage locked in the shuttle vehicle as there is no road access to the Beihai Hotel
Day 3. Watch the sunrise in front of your hotel and continue your tour on the top and get down to the bottom before noon as your departure time is suggested before 4 in the afternoon.
At 15: 50 the latest service will leave for Shanghai you can be back to your Shanghai Southern Bus Station before 9 in the evening. You will pass Jiashan around 19 and those who would return to Suzhou can get off here or your guide would just remind the driver of dropping them off around the cross or a bus station.

Quote for reference:
1. The lowest rate for a standard room on the top
920 / room without breakfast.
The Spartan dormitory of 6 -8 people cost each person 250 / bed with 3—4 bunk beds and a private shower and toilet.
As for the van service of 14 seat would cost you total 800, except 30 in park shuttle bus fare.

PS:
A standard room certainly has two bed with a private bath and tv, desk phone set, etc.
A guide for two day work and with her work cost, such as cable service and a bed cost and her subsidy 200, would be 700 yuan
15: 50 is the dealine for the bus to Shanghai.
Those who would go to Suzhou and get off before the reach Shanghai, may be Jiashan.
As for the ancient villages you mentioned, just add 100 yuan for the bus and you can save some money.
If you agree the above quote in genenral, I shall type an itinerary and polish the quote step by step.
