China Tour for the Deaf

We provide unique tour products for the deaf in Eastern China, as we fully understand the deaf tourists’ need and we are willing to serve as an eye-opener to their overseas adventure. China Travel Service of Huangshan is one of the tour operators in China for the deaf from English-speaking countries.
Our guides who conduct these tours are all qualified English guides. The English sign interpreter is not available at moment but we have taken the following measures to complement the gap:
We have especially designed tour routes for the deaf tourists, which are characterized by natural scenes and bird-view of traditional and modern China, such as Ming villages, well-known cities.
To guarantee the tour safe and sound, we have taken the following measure.
Deaf & Mute Tour Attentions
1. Each tourist will be given a card with their hotel names, exchange number, their guide and chauffeur’s mobile number, all written in Chinese characters just in case they get lost during their tour.
When some of them feel get lost, they can just show the card to whoever they are approaching, and the passers-by will dial the mobile on the card at once. (Remember almost all the young people in China have mobile phone sets)
2. We also give each tourist an easy-recognized cap or some striking colored accouterment to put on so the guide and chauffeur can easily targeting the group members.
3. All the hotel rooms are arranged on the same floor and close to each other. Your tour guide is also put on the same floor. Warning flash lights or small vibrators will be put in all the rooms with a remote control in the tour leader’s hand in case of emergency.
4. At each stop during the tour, we arrange the all the members in the group to get online in the internet coffee to report safety to their family with videotext so as to let parents or other family members feel at ease.
5. Whatever we try in our work, there always exists some communication inconvenience between the guide and the mute tourists; therefore, we strongly suggest that one or two members with hearing ability must participate in the group so as to guarantee the trip running smoothly.

For detailed information, please drop in an email and you will get a tailor-made itinerary exclusively for your tour calendar and interest.
